I had a show tonight, so I didn’t get enough Frank time. So sad.
Fortunately, I was able to help with Frank’s bath. Frank has a new little friend. And much like his Dad, he can’t keep his hands off it.
There’s one thing I do with Frank that always makes him smile. This huge laugh smile that makes his face look fat and like it’ll explode with laughter. He doesn’t laugh at it, but the smile is worth it.
I hold him up under the arms and kick his legs side to side like [...]
I worked late tonight (last one this late for a while probably) so I didn’t get to see Frank until he went to sleep. I did get to see him in the morning before I left and he had on this cute outfit. He’s dressing less and less like a baby and more [...]
Day 189 (11.27.06): 6 Month Doctor’s Appointment
0 Comments Published November 27th, 2006 in UncategorizedFrank is huge! 17lbs 11oz. He’s closing in on 18 pounds. He’s 27 inches tall. Which puts him above the 50th percentile for height. I see an NBA contract in his future. Except he can’t stand the pain of shots. So sad. He grew so much today, that [...]
Well. Thus ends our long vacation with Frankie. We did the usual church morning. Church was abnormally uncrowded. None of the usual suspects seemed to be there. Or very few at least. I put up the Christmas lights on the porch, and did a little work around the house. [...]
Day 187 (11.25.06): Cinnamon Rolls and New Clothes
0 Comments Published November 25th, 2006 in UncategorizedWe went for another walk today. Down to Depot Town, and bought cinnamon rolls at a new bakery, where there used to be a Quizno’s. I liked Quizno’s but these cinnamon rolls make for a net gain in Depot Town. Then we headed to A2 to check out some used baby clothes. [...]
We had a fun day. We went for a walk in the cold, and stopped for a snack at Sidetracks. The Corner Brewery didn’t open until 4. Trish had dinner with her sister, so it was my first chance to feed the Frank solid food. He responded well to me feeding [...]
Frank’s first Turkey Day and we went to Trish’s brother and Frank’s godfather, Tom’s house. It was just the Conlon clan so it was pretty cozy. The Lions lost. Imagine that.
Afterwards we went to Trish’s folks house. It was fun to hang out, although I was in a turkey coma. [...]
Frank got his 6 month pictures today. Which was a bit of a pain, since it seemed like everyone in America was getting their kids pictures. We got some good photos though.
Strangely enough, when we took Frankie to get his picture with Santa Claus, there was no line at all. The picture [...]
I had to work late again. But Trish started Frank on solid food today. As you can tell from the pictures, not so much eating it, as he’s wearing it.
Marty is 2 years, 3 months and 8 days old.
