Day 162: First Halloween

Frank slept a lot better. He only was up once. He’s still in the car seat . . . which is in the crib, which looks hysterical. He had a better day, so we decided to proceed with the Halloween festivities.
Trish met me at work, so Frank got to meet everyone at [...]

Day 161: Sick Baby = No sleepy

So . . . it didn’t go so good. Frank was up all night (not all night but every two hours, just like old times). So Trish and I didn’t get much sleep. Neither did Frank, which is terribly sad. He was wheezing all night. It sounded like a wet [...]

Sunday, so it’s church. We then went to Red Robin and Target. We were going to go to Meijer, but Frank started melting down. When we got home I got out the leaf blower and gave the backyard a much needed blow. After that, I carved the pumpkin. Sounds dirty, [...]

Day 159: First Baby Sitting

We’ve had some babysitting before, but only with family (our moms, aunts, etc.). We had a dinner date with Jim and Leigha (Jim helped me get the job and I owed him dinner – and much more, but he settled for dinner). We left Frank with Kerri, a student of mine from the [...]

Day 158: Nacho Libre

We’re back on Netflix, and received our first shipment, which included Nacho Libre. It’s pretty funny, not great, but good. Frank fell asleep before the end. I’m looking forward to the day when he can enjoy a movie with us.

Day 155: The evolving face

It could just be the old school part I gave Frank after his bath last night but his face looked really different today. It’s like he doesn’t stop growing. Which is stupid to say, since in fact he doesn’t stop growing. But I go back and I look at the old pictures [...]

It wasn’t too long of a day at work but when I came home, man, Frank looked huge. And a bit different. So of course, we had to give him an old school hairstyle. I can’t believe it’s been 5 months. And seriously, the craziest 5 months of my life. [...]

Trish made me pancakes to celebrate the new range. Then off to church, which was extremely crowded for no apparent reason. After church I had to go to Home Depot and Lowe’s to do some homework (an orientation exercise for work). We then went to Rick and Mary’s house for a batch [...]
