Sleeping in on a Saturday, nothing like it. Frank added yet another basic human skill to his repertoire. He rolled over. It was wild to see him do it. It’s not like he does it over and over, but the fact that he can do it once is really cool.
Aaah Friday. Getting back to work on a normal schedule makes you really appreciate the weekend. So it’s off to the Corner Brewery for our end of the week party. Which means Trish and I have a beer, Frank has a bottle and we all are asleep by 10:30 pm. Parenthood, that’s how I roll.
Been really busy with the job, so I didn’t get much of a chance to spend time with Frank. He did wait up for me however.

Day 128: Second Day of Daycare not so bad

Fortunately, the lady who watches Frank, Ms. Lisa, does a great job. We get cool daily reports (written and verbal) and Frank is getting socialized to other kids. Which at 4 months means he tries not to [...]
My first day at my new job. My new job is awesome, and I love it. But sending my little buddy off to daycare was easily the saddest thing I’ve ever done. We had a great 4 months together, and that’s more than most dads get, but still, horribly sad. Frank seemed pretty sad too. [...]
We gave him a bath today, since he’s off to day care for the first time tomorrow. Which is sad, but he’s cute in his bath. And chubby!
We had Tim Robinson’s wedding (which was very fun, despite my going back to work anxiety – we crashed one of the other weddings, which was extremely fun.)
So, Frank went to Trish’s folks. He notices stuff out the back window. Like me, taking his picture.
He spends lots of time looking around. Now that he has neck control. I wish I had neck control.
But not the way it shows off his old lady neck.
